What we set right now
We try to keep this site lean. Right now, this website sets no third-party tracking cookies and runs no analytics.
The only thing we store on your device is one entry in localStorage called locaided.consent, which remembers your choice from the cookie banner so we don't ask you again every time. It contains a single value (accept or decline). It never leaves your device. You can clear it any time by clicking Manage cookies in the footer.
Why a banner if we use no cookies?
Two reasons:
- To respect your right to be informed (Art. 13 GDPR / § 25 TTDSG) and to give you a clear opt-in choice in case we ever introduce optional services.
- To prepare for measured rollouts of analytics or marketing tools later. When that happens, we will load those tools only if you accepted, and we'll update this page to list them by name.
What we do not use
- No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Matomo, no Mixpanel.
- No Facebook Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no TikTok Pixel.
- No advertising cookies of any kind.
- No session recording (Hotjar, FullStory, etc.).
Third-party loads
This site loads font files from Google Fonts (Inter, Work Sans). Loading those fonts means your IP is sent to Google's servers, but Google states that no cookies are set when you request a stylesheet or font from fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com. See our Privacy Policy for details and the legal basis.
Your choice
You can change your consent any time by clicking at the bottom of any page.
Changes
If we ever start loading something new — analytics, marketing pixels, embedded video — we will update this page and ask you for renewed consent before any non-essential service runs.
