Locaided is a local social app operated by Secure Standards GmbH, Am Dornbusch 61, 63225 Langen (Hessen), Germany. These standards apply to everything shared in the Locaided app: posts, stories, photos, videos, comments, direct messages and profiles.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
Locaided prohibits child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including:
- sexual or sexualised images, videos or text involving anyone under 18;
- grooming, or contacting a minor with sexual intent;
- sextortion, or threatening to share intimate images;
- trafficking or advertising minors for sexual purposes;
- sharing links to, or asking for, such material.
Locaided is intended for people aged 16 and over.
How to report
- In the app: on any post, story or profile, open the ··· menu, tap Report, and choose Nudity or sexual content. Use Something else for grooming or any other concern about a child. To report a direct message, report the sender's profile.
- By email: hello@locaided.com. Please do not attach or forward the material itself. Describe where you saw it, for example the username, the post and the time.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police right away (in Germany: 110).
What we do with a report
- Reports go to our moderation team, who review them as a priority, within 24 hours.
- Content that violates these standards is removed, and the accounts involved are permanently banned.
- We report apparent CSAM to the competent law enforcement authorities: in Germany the Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt, BKA) or the competent police authority, and where applicable the US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline. We preserve the related data as the law requires.
- We cooperate with law enforcement requests in line with applicable law.
Posts on Locaided expire after 24 hours, and the community can also remove a post by disliking it. Reports of child abuse are never left to expire: we act on them directly.
